ALSAN 500

One-component PU resin for waterproofing flat areas.
 
• Application in 2 coats, consumption 2 x 750 g/m2
(heavier duty = 3 x 600 g/m2)
• Primer as shown in table
• Upstands with embedded fleece
• Main area without fleece
• Intervals (20°)
- Primer ~ 2 – 8 h*
- Between 1st and 2nd coat ~ 12 h
- Final coat 72 h max.
- Rainproof ~ 4 h
- Dried fully ~ 72 h
• If required (not compulsory) further layers can be applied

after ~ 12 h using
- ALSAN 500 F/FT
- ALSAN DECO
• Storage life 6 months

Liquid waterproofing, reliable protection against sub-surface migration of water, permanently flexible, alkali-resistant, UV-resistant and highly resistant to all weathering influences.
 
For use in new build and for renovations.
Specially designed for waterproofing:
 
• Balconies
• Terraces
• Exterior corridors
 
The complete system consists of a primer and the following components:
 
- ALSAN 500 waterproofing
- ALSAN DECO wearing layer
- ALSAN 500F or 500FT sealing coat
 
If required, the area can be enhanced further with application of DECO Chips.
 
Applied with roller and brush. May be machine-applied using suitable spray applicators.
